So, I have kind of been obsessed with the game Destiny 2 since it came out in the beginning of September. So far the game has not had many problems which has been a big improvement from the first game. One of my favorite things about the game is that even though at points you may have to grind to get better gear a lot, there is always new things to do (at least there has been for me). Another big thing that I like is that there are so many customization options which makes everything so original. I also really like how they set all the flying in the game up because it makes everything easy to find, and also easy to get to quickly which is very noticeable from the first game. One thing I do wish that they did better is fix the connection problems. Just like the first game I find myself lagging out of lobbies a lot and not being able to connect to my friend's game. Another thing I did not really like is that when you scope in to your gun and scope out of your gun it takes a long time to ready and also the radar does not come up very fast. Finally one last thing that I did not like is that in the first level of the game the UI was not designed very well so I found my self getting lost a lot and it took me a lot longer to complete the level. Overall even though there are minor set backs to how the game plays I really like how they put together a lot of things and how they continue to add stuff constantly.

Hi everyone reading this,
So far this class has been a huge learning experience for me and one of my favorite classes. In the first 4 weeks of class I have learned so much about careers, hardware, software, and copyright/plagiarism and other things. When I first enrolled in the class I thought we would be making games from the start of the year to the end but I now know that I really have to learn the basics first before I start designing at all. While we haven't done much with digital artwork I am very excited to start working with Photoshop and other programs like it because while I have done some things on Photoshop I am looking forward to learning more about the programs. Although this class is really fun, I find that compared to my other classes I have a lot more work. Which don't get me wrong it not going to make me quit the class I just feel sometimes like this is the only class I have homework for. While this post might seem like I really hate this pathway, I really don't. So far I have learned so much more than I used to and I have never really had the opportunity to do anything like this. Overall this class has been one the most fun classes that I am in and I cannot wait for more. Summary
I just started my Scientific Visualization class 2 weeks ago and this is my first blog post. So far this class has been a great learning experience for me, and probably my favorite thing that we have learned is all the different careers there are based on this subject. For our project on this subject we each chose a career and researched what the career is and the history of the it. I chose to research the User Interface (UI) Designer career because it is the career I am most interested in. In my research I found that UI designers are responsible for making the story or plot of a game easy to follow and also making sure that interactions between the user and the game are smooth. I also learned that another big thing they do in terms of games is that they design the Heads up display (HUD) which for example is the map of the area the player is in, abilities they have, and their health bar. After we finished our projects we all came back to class and got ready to present, although I did not present to the class, I got to learn more in depth about different careers people were interested in. Overall the career project we did was a great experience for me and I feel like I like I learned a lot about the different careers I could go into if I continue with this pathway.
