So at the beginning of the year my teacher kind of introduced me to Adobe Spark. I haven't done a lot with it yet but I have learned the basics on my own and so far it is really easy to use. Adobe Spark is a program where you can combine tons of different graphics together to create a poster or picture. Overall I find the concept really interesting because I have not used a program like this before and it could be helpful for a lot of projects. So far I have created a couple of graphics (which can be found in my selected works page) and while there are not a ton of options on how you create everything so far everything I have made looks pretty good. I think that my favorite thing about Adobe Spark is that it is easy to find pictures because you can just search what you're looking for and they will give you a ton of options which makes finding the right picture so much easier. Overall I really like Adobe Spark with my small knowledge of it and I plan to keep using it throughout this year.

Recently Destiny 2 came out with a new expansion called forsaken. I was really excited for forsaken because when I looked at how large the update was it was larger than both of the previous two combined. This with a lot of new abilities and content had me really excited for September 4th when it finally dropped. When I first got to play it I thought it was pretty good, they raised all the levels and gave me something to grind for again and they also created a whole new story and a new raid boss. They also created new abilities for all the classes and a new game mode that combines PvP (Player versus Player) and PvE ( Player versus Enviornment). As I have been playing I have noticed how much of a grind it is and how much effort it takes to level up and get better gear. So far I really like this update a lot because of all the new things that have been added but I do find it very annoying how you have to play for a long time just to reach even close to some of the end game content. Overall I really like the new expansion and all the things that are still to come as part of the expansion.

,So this previous week we were assigned to firstly revamp our portfolio, and secondly create a resume and a cover letter to apply for a job. While doing this assignment I really figured out how important it is to have a good portfolio. Firstly and mainly, when people are hiring they look at your portfolio to see your past work and also what skills and experience you have. This makes it crucial to have updated work and your updated set of skills. Secondly you also want to make your portfolio look very nice and clean because when businesses will look at it, they want to see that you keep everything organized and that you know where things should go and where they shouldn't. Thirdly you want to show the company your best work so if you have random things scattered around or it just looks bad in general, you probably will not get the job. Last and not least you want to keep all your work in one place so it is easily accessible by the business that you are trying to become a part of. This really helps because if you have good artwork then it will all flow together and look very clean going back to my other point. Down below I have also included some links where I got some of my ideas from and also some other tips to help make your portfolio great.
